Frequently asked questions
Where are you located? We have two studios. One is in Emaar Business Park, Building 4, in The Greens and the other is on the 7th Floor of The Hilton in Al Habtoor City, Business Bay.
Where can I park? In The Greens you can park in the large parking lot between our building and the Onyx Tower. We validate parking here for up to 2 Hours but you must remember to have your ticket stamped at our front desk. You may also choose to park on the paid street parking. In The Hilton we have valet parking at The Hilton which can be validated with a stamped ticket for up to 2 Hours but this can take some time to retrieve when busy. If you are in a rush we recommend that you park at busy times in the paid parking either under the bridge or on the street.
I'm not flexible, can I do Yoga? Of course! Now is the perfect time for you to start Yoga. Find a beginner's class and experience how Yoga will make you more flexible, but also help bring your mind, body, and spirit into harmony. If you have any health issues, be sure to consult with your doctor first.
What can I expect for my first class? Arrive about 15 minutes early so that the instructor is able to on-board you without delay and give you guidance on what to expect for the class.
What do I wear to class? Wear comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move freely or relax comfortably. Avoid jeans and anything that restricts movement and flow.
What do I bring to class? Just bring yourself! We’re a full-service studio which means we have everything you need for an enjoyable class. This includes: blocks, mats, cushions, bolsters, eye pillows, blankets and straps. If you have your own mat, you’re welcome to bring this to class.
What if this is my first yoga class? No problem. When you contact us we will walk you through the schedule and ensure you feel confident and ready with a class that meets your needs.
What if I have an injury? Please ensure that you contact us ahead of time so that we can guide you to the appropriate class and ensure we can make it a great experience.
Where do I go to sign up? You can click the link here to book yourself into your preferred class. You’ll be able to browse classes with ease, and sign up and check out all the new things happening at Yoga House.
What class would you suggest if I just wanted to drop in? Great question and it will differ for each person. If you’re new, we suggest the Hatha Flow, Vin to Yin or Yin Stretch class. If you’re comfortable with downdog, try our Get in Shape or our Vinyasa or Ashtanga class to get a sense of what works for you. From there we can walk through the schedule and make sure you’re feeling comfortable.
What forms of payment do we accept? We accept debit and credit for our classes, and if you prefer we also do cash transactions.
What if I signed up and I’m unable to make it to class? If you’re unable to make it to class, no problem. Be sure to cancel at least two hours in advance so that we know before we select and prepare the rooms.
Do you offer private sessions? Yes! We know it can be intimidating walking into a class for the first time. So we have a private session option as well as an Intro to Yoga and Meditation Package for those looking to learn the foundations of breathwork, alignment, and mediation one-on-one before entering our small-class training.
