XYOGA Dubai is back this February 2020 and we are taking part in it! Join us for the following outdoor community Yoga sessions on Kite Beach:

POWER VINYASA WIth Kelsi GArdiner

Timing : Friday, 21st of February 2020, 9 am

About the class:

This is an all levels class. Great for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners. This fitness based approach to a Power Vinyasa style class will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow. In this power vinyasa class, we will build strength, flexibility, and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. You can expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with stretching and breath work. All levels are welcome, even if you've never been to a yoga class before!

Ashtanga for beginners with Jatta Tjurin

Timing : 21st of February 2020, 4 pm

About the class:

Intended to be a daily practice this powerful, healing practice is a specific sequence of postures (asanas) linking breath (pranayama) and movement (vinyasa.) Ashtanga is an athletic flow combining strength, flexibility and stamina for a complete practice. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is different from many yoga classes in the West in that the order of asanas is completely predefined. A practice will comprise four main parts: an “opening sequence,” one of the six main “series”, a back-bending sequence, and a set of inverted asanas, referred to as the “finishing sequence.” Practice always ends with savasana.

About the class:

Sunset Flow and Meditation - This late afternoon class will leave you feeling restored & rejuvenated. You will start with a gentle opening of the body, sun salutations to heat up, and a few cool down postures, followed by a 15 minute meditation. The meditation will take you into a deep experience of integrated relaxed awareness where you will leave the waking state, go past the dreaming state into a deep sleep, yet remain awake. It is a powerful tool used for awakening the mind body connection as well as helping people to live happier & healthier lives.
