How do I create an Enriching Environment for my child?

 

Following on from the 'Because it Matters' series, YogaHouse Greens is delighted to present a Community Event where parents can attend a unique parenting workshop that incorporates Montessori-inspired strategies in order to create an Enriching Environment for their child.

 

Introduced by Charlotte Awdry, the Founder of www.enrichingenvironments.com , this Parent Enrichment Workshop taster session will be an Introduction to creating an Enriching Environment, with an overview of the following topics:

 

✓ Movement

✓ Language

✓ Independence

✓ Play

✓ Self-discipline

 

As well as covering other often asked questions such as:

How can parents nurture their child’s curiosity?

Why should young children have first-hand experiences (rather than screens)?

How can parents support child-led open-ended play?

What alternatives are there to plastic toys?

How can parents practice positive communication with their child?

 

All parents and caregivers welcome. This session will be a reflective one so in order to maximise the benefits for all participants we request that this is adults only. (Babes in arms are of course welcome).
