ABOUT THE WORKSHOP​

Looking to take your yoga experience to another level, or wishing you had a little more time to deepen into your practice? Get two practices in one during this uniquely created, extended master class.

 

Heather Bonker leads a powerful, dynamic and graceful vinyasa class that will build with unfolding heat, followed by targeted isolation, using specialized balls and props, to release congested trigger points of the body’s connective tissue (fascia) in the legs, hips, back and shoulders. While at times intense and others blissful, join for an extended master class of fun and deepening to create lasting change and fluidity in your body, mind and practice.

 

Level: No specific requirements to join, however the class caters to intermediate experience or more.

Timing : Saturday 13th February at 11:00am (160 minutes)

Joining Fee: Single Pass 175 aed, 150 aed if you buy the 5 Workshops Pass (valid for 6 months).

Venue: Yoga House in Intercontinental Dubai Marina

About the instructor: Heather Bonker

​

Heather has 12 years of extensive yoga teaching experience, is certified an ERYT 500+ teacher with a strong vinyasa emphasis, 85 hours of prenatal yoga qualifications as well as bringing 8 years involvement as co-facilitator of 200 & 500hr teacher trainings and retreats in Bali. Yoga and teaching have brought her international experience in East Asia, North America, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.

 

Influences & Study:

Her practice began more than 15 years ago with primary influences from a combination of Ashtanga, Jivamukti, power vinyasa, Tripsichore, various meditation disciplines and more.

Her teaching style:

Students find Heather’s classes and voice gracefully fluid and caring while also being quite dynamic, creative, and with an intuitive dance quality. Her teaching combines a passion for yoga, along with her many other people-centered skills and degrees in psychology and human rights- adding supportive guidance towards greater fulfillment, well-being, and health for all.
