ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Join us on this calming and restoring workshop where you will practice and learn yogic techniques to help you in your daily life to reduce stress, promote relaxation & deep sleep.
You will gain an understanding of the following:
Breathing (pranayama) to help you relax and sleep
Restorative postures for calming the body and mind
Meditation/relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety and stress
Sound frequencies to send you into deep relaxation
We will practice restorative postures (asanas) which are supported by using props and are held typically for 3-5 minutes. Participants can take time to focus on deepening their breath and slowly releasing stress and tension stored in the body. The poses set one up for relaxation and deep meditative states.
We will teach you how to use the relaxation techniques in your daily life, to assist you in conquering fear and promoting a sound sleep.
The workshop will end with a savasana (final relaxation) with sound frequencies to encourage brainwave entrainment, taking you into deeper states which can help to remove built up anxiety.
