 " Proper breathing is the foundation of healthy living " 

Pranayama (प्राणायाम prāṇāyāma) is a sanskrit word that means ‘control of the breath’. Pranayama breathing exercises are tools to increase the store of Pranic [life force] energy by enhancing the quality of breathing. According to yoga tradition, it is one of the highest form of cleansing and clearing discipline for mankind.

Through this valuable workshop discover the power of your breath on the mind, body, and emotions using traditional pranayama (yogic breathing) techniques. Learn to practice and utilize them in your yoga practice to welcome health, happiness and fulfilment in daily life.

Workshop Content:  

  • Introduction to basics of Pranayama (breathing technique)

  • Traditional and Scientific Approach of Pranayama practice.

  • Valuable hands-on experience of different types of Pranayama technique and significance

  • Different types of Pranayama like Anulom-vilom, Suryabhedana, Ujjayi, Shitali, Sitkari, Bhramari and Bhastrika.

  • Workshop welcomes all levels.


Timing : Saturday, 13th November at 11:00pm (120 minutes)

Joining Fee: Single Pass 175 aed, 150 aed if you buy the 5 Workshops Pass (valid for 6 months).

Venue: Yoga House in Intercontinental Dubai Marina

*Note that the workshop will go ahead with a minimum of 4 persons. 


about the instructor: Purva kaushal

Purva Kaushal studied art, science and philosophy of ancient yoga at the International Sivananda Vedanta Center in India and teaches in Dubai past 8 years.

She is really passionate about traditional teachings and likes to follow yoga in an authentic, pure, traditional way without distortion from original teaching method to bring a holistic, healing approach to her practice.
