ABOUT THE PROGRAM

​

Ashtanga Mysore is a traditional self-practice of ashtanga yoga. It is named after the city of Mysore in the state of Karnataka where Shri K Pattabi Jois developed the practice. His grandson Sharath Jois is continuing the lineage of teaching this method. The method is available to all levels from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners.

 

The sequence is taught by memorizing the asanas one by one and more is added according to the teacher's discretion as the student progresses. It is a self-paced practice supported by the teacher's detailed individual attention and guidance. Students can arrive at their convenience at the Shala within the allocated time frame.

Class Schedule:

Mysore-style classes : Monday to Thursday - 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM 

Ashtanga led class: Saturday- 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
